First commission, and more cars

Well a successful handover of my first commission piece. Happy customer. Thanks to Owen Swain for the philosophy, the customer gives me what they think is appropriate.

I will do as some others do and frame my $. Is that corny? Not that I am doing all this for the money, in fact some of the discussions I have had with the owners of these cars, sketching/art is not very expensive, in comparison. Actually it’s my new catchphrase when I purchase something, “AT least it’s not hot rod/classic!”

Here’s the finished car.

Elizabeth Flanagan showed me the salt effect on watercolour which I used in the top.

Finally finished a father son set I have seen at Mornington and BP Baxter.

Now that I look at them they are not quite finished!

I need to improve in my use of black and white!
